The useful price for a chauffeured journey is the price for your vehicle, route and time. A one-way hotel transfer and an afternoon with the car waiting between meetings are different bookings, even when both use the same model.

This guide concerns renting a car with a professional chauffeur in Dubai. It covers neither buying a limousine nor self-drive rental or a driver for your own car. Start with the journey you need, then compare the Summit fleet and the terms in your written quotation.

One way or 2, 5 or 10 hours?

One way: an agreed pickup and destination. A return journey or an extra stop needs to be included in the quote; do not assume it comes with the outbound fare.
2 hours: a short sequence of errands or a nearby appointment with a return trip, where the whole plan fits the confirmed period.
5 hours: several appointments, a shopping visit or a half-day itinerary with time between stops.
10 hours: a longer day of meetings or visits. It is a defined booking period, not an open-ended day or a 24-hour reservation.

For hourly hire, plan around the whole period for which you need the vehicle available, including standby between journeys. Ask when the booking clock starts and ends. Published vehicle prices: a starting point

The following AED starting rates were checked on 9 October 2026 against Summit's fleet listings. One-way rates are labelled for journeys within Dubai. They include the vehicle and chauffeur; the final quotation depends on the route, date and requested additions. These are not fixed airport fares or a promise that every extra is included.

Vehicle category alone does not tell you which fare will be lowest. In these listings, the BMW sedan's two-hour price is above the V300's. Compare the actual model and package, then check whether it suits your passengers and bags.

A worked comparison, with its limits

Using the V300 figures above, two one-way starting fares total AED 439 × 2 = AED 878. A two-hour package starts at AED 769, a difference of AED 109. That comparison is useful only if both journeys qualify for those fares and the full itinerary fits two hours under the confirmed terms.

If dinner and travel require five hours, the listed five-hour package is AED 1,044, or AED 166 more than those two starting fares. You are comparing continuous availability with two separately arranged collections. Route-specific charges, waiting and parking can change either total, so request both options for the same itinerary.

What the written quote needs to settle

Summit's fleet pages describe the vehicle and chauffeur as included. They also list fuel among booking inclusions, while warning that tolls and parking may apply. The scope of other costs needs to be clear for your journey.

Overtime	Whether an extension is available, its price and billing increment. Dividing a package price by its hours does not establish an overtime rate.
Tolls and parking	Whether these are included, charged separately or subject to a stated allowance, including airport parking or access costs where applicable.
Route limits	Any distance or service-area conditions and how a journey outside Dubai would be quoted.
VAT	Whether the quoted total includes any applicable VAT and how it is shown on the invoice. Do not add or remove a tax percentage based on this guide.

There is no single waiting allowance, overtime tariff or VAT treatment established by the listings used here. Obtain those details in writing instead of treating a headline rate as an all-inclusive total.

Deposit, advance payment and cancellation are different questions

Summit's booking terms say that a reservation may require full payment or a deposit, with bank transfer, major credit cards and approved corporate accounts among the accepted payment methods. Confirm the method and payment deadline for your booking.

An advance payment is money paid towards the service before travel. If a quote uses the word deposit, ask whether it means a part-payment towards the fare or a separate security hold, whether it is credited to the balance, and when any refundable amount is released. The word alone does not explain those arrangements.

Cancellation is a separate issue. The published terms tie the notice period to your booking confirmation, allow processing charges on eligible refunds, and state that late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the full booking amount. Special-event and peak-season bookings may have stricter conditions. A booking without a security hold would not, by itself, mean no advance payment or no cancellation liability.

Send one complete itinerary for a useful quote

Provide the date, pickup time, every address, likely time at each stop, passenger count and luggage details. For airport travel, add the airport code, flight number and terminal, then review the airport transfer arrangements.

Ask for the selected vehicle, total price, inclusions, payment schedule and change or cancellation terms together. Request a written quotation so you can choose the package on the strength of the complete booking, not its headline price alone.
